What's with this slight board update

When using a mobile phone. Not sure about on the pc yet. There was an update to the boards today. I'm no longer able to see notifications. Like when someone replies to me. Or posts in my discussion. Is anyone else having this same issue or am i just missing something simple from this change/update???
