: Queue bans (wait 5mins) and players who do botting?
The pep-talk is appreciated, but this was my most recent game: https://matchhistory.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/OC1/253490951/201050290?tab=stats It took 26mins to get kill #1, because getting Teemo down was impossible. I got kill #2 about two->three seconds before the match ended. In any case that match went about 33mins too long, and it was only because of the Master Yi player that we actually managed to win. Again, thankyou for the positive words; but looking through my forum history it seems I was having this complaint (bot-infested games) about 5 years ago. After the match I've just had I just don't feel like playing anymore, but perhaps this issue will be fixed five years from now. :-(
: 1. If it's a confirmed bot, there's no real reason not to dodge it. The worst you will have is a longer wait to get into game (though that matters more to some than others). . 2. 6, then 15 minutes. - https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201751844-Queue-Dodging . 3. The more games you play, the less bots you'll see. They congregate in places with low levels, MMR, and population, so as you climb your way out of those and/or play at more active times of the day you'll see them less and less. Personally, I haven't seen a bot in years unless I dip my toes back into co-op VS AI. Report them along the way and let the system do it's work, but also accept that there will always be people trying to make a quick buck, and esp. in a free to play game bots are always going to exist in one form or another. . 4. There is not, because it's one of those features where the abuse cases would do way more harm than the good it's intended use would do.
Thankyou for the reply! :-D > [{quoted}](name=Seras Dragon,realm=OCE,application-id=T8eq2lFQ,discussion-id=W9gUGvvU,comment-id=0000,timestamp=2019-08-26T11:27:46.686+0000)Personally, I haven't seen a bot in years unless I dip my toes back into co-op VS AI. I play Co-Op Vs AI almost exclusively, which is probably why I'm having it happen as often as I do. > [{quoted}](name=Seras Dragon,realm=OCE,application-id=T8eq2lFQ,discussion-id=W9gUGvvU,comment-id=0000,timestamp=2019-08-26T11:27:46.686+0000) > > 1. Thankyou for the info! ^-^ If the most I'd ever have to worry about is a 15-minute delay, then it's no worse than ending up in a game where we're stuck struggling for 15-20mins; and if I had wanted that, I wouldn't have queued for Co-op Vs AI in the first place. :-) Normally I can handle there being one bot on my team (it sucks, but *eh..*), but when there's 2+ bots at a time then the match is hardly worth attempting. I just really didn't want to face horrible consequences from leaving an already bad situation, y'know?
: Dont know how to win
I find that if I'm matched up with bad teammates, taking a break for like 5mins can make a difference. Get up, have something to eat / grab a glass of water, then come back. By that time, they've probably got their next game started - and you won't be matched with them. Alternately, switch game modes. If fighting players isn't fun, have a round of vsAI - earlier this evening, I was matched up with a Tahm Kench ADC who wanted to just mess around and have fun. Like, they were a good player so it worked out just fine - and we had a newbie trying to solo top lane, so it was good to go help out the other players as we roflstomped the bots. If neither of those are working out, close the game for a while. Come back the next day, if you'd like. Do something else that's fun and take time to un-tilt yourself. **Ultimately, your ranking in a videogame is not a measure of your worth as a human being - and is not worth losing your mind over**. :-)
: Bots are banned in waves to obfuscate detection methods, so there will be periods where they are somewhat more prevalent. Many schools have also just gone back which means a drop in player numbers overall, particularly during the day. Low level ARAMs and co-op vs AI are also where the bots tend to congregate, so you're sort of in the hot spot all round. The best thing you can do is report them for cheating, and they'll get picked up in the next wave.

Kinda glad to hear that it is something that does get dealt with, even though it takes a while. Bot teammates are one of the things that really suck the fun out of the game. :-(

: Oce skin
Probably with "free Unchained Alistar skin" - available to NA but not OCE. :-/
: Pencils down: Party Rewards test concludes
It was nice for the couple games when I had friends online at the same time, but mostly I had to solo queue - so it felt like I was missing out on the huge IP bonuses everyone else was getting. A good idea, though.

: I feel highly depressed from the game
I feel kinda the same, tbh. Just finished an ARAM game (I mostly play bots matches because they're less toxic) where our team was crushed and during the match one of their players was harping on about how they'd beat me in a 1v1 (no kidding - I mostly play bots matches) and how they were going to %%%% my mother. I don't need that from random people in a video game. I don't need that from ANYONE. Once the match ended, I was just glad to be out of there - but in doing so I forgot to report them in the post-match window, and I don't know how else to do it. They're on my block list now (along with their friend who commented how "salt" we were), which is a start I guess. But I don't want to have to deal with this *at all*, and because I %%%%ed up and didn't report it kinda feels like they got away with it. I play for fun, but when I play a match and feel worse afterwards than before I began... what's the point?
: Businesses raising prices is not uncommon. Businesses taking to the time explain to their customers why their rising the prices is uncommon. If this price rise is something you are unhappy about, you can choose not to purchase any RP from this date forward. Your objection not to pay will be because you the consumer disagree business practise to rise the price of RP. Personally, I am still willing to pay in support of the game I greatly enjoy, despite the few extra dollars.
Couldn't have worded that better myself.
: Co-op vs AI modes are infested with ally farm bots
I've noticed this an awful lot myself. The worst is when you have three (or four) botting players, and you can't even /forfeit to end the match. Over the past few days I've had at least two games where it's been me and 4 bots. I've tried babysitting mid, but I can't prevent them from tower-diving after taking damage from the enemy champ, which means the foe still gets fed no matter what I do. I report in the post-match screen (rather than honoring them), but it's getting beyond a joke - nowadays I've started asking if all players are humans before picking a champion, purely so I don't end up stuck in yet *another* bot-infested game. :-(
