He has been delayed because his update is a very big one (because he is quite deserving), and they want to get him absolutely right, so that he isn't the next Ryze. Be patient.

So a clean boot is where you disable all applications that run at startup (except the essentials obviously) and then restart the computer. You do this because if it works after the clean boot, you know that it is an application that is causing the problem, then you can pinpoint it and deal with it. I just want to make sure that it has benefits that wouldn't come from the repair, as reinstalling League is a long and arduous process.
Hi again, Good news! I performed a clean boot of my computer and tried again, and it let me into the game. Does this mean that a different application is causing the game to crash? And if so, is the only way to find that application to go through, rebooting the computer with a different application enabled each time? Thank you for your help. <3

It's basically instant, maybe 2 or 3 seconds, although that could be to do with the computer rather than the issue.
: Thanks for the detailed description here. When you see the "Lolclient.exe has stopped working" screen or get taken back to the reconnect screen, how long does that take to come up - is it instant or does it take some amount of time?

Hi Mindstar, I'm having the same problem as some of these people, my client works perfectly up until the end of champ select, where instead of taking me to the loading screen pre-game, it does one of two things, either just takes me to the reconnect screen, or an error comes up with "Lolclient.exe has stopped working", and THEN I go back to the reconnect screen. I was playing last night and it was fine, but I have not been able to play since the patch update (I'm not sure if this is related). I have been trying to get into custom games for most of the day, and it has not been working. I'm writing this because I'm not really sure what else to do, I've tried everything that I can think of, including restarting my computer, restarting the client, repairing it etc. I am with TPG, and I am in Canberra. I'll just sit tight and hope it gets resolved, but any additional help or information you could give me would be wonderful. Thanks.
