As a straight person who voted for gay marriage I think most of the problem is the over use of the Aussie slang word F***ot. Me personally I never use that term and anyone who does is living in the 1990's or a child. End of the day though, there will always be haters, laugh at them and ignore them. (they hate being laughed at by the way)

If the server population declines to say 70,000 people, then the chance of getting a bot is 4.1%. I should have really said the relative chance of getting a bot in your game will increase. Apologies. I guess that's the difference between you and me. No offence but I will NOT par take in any cheating of any game so that includes receiving goods from a cheater. Always been VERY anti cheating in games, ruins it for the players that like to play the game the way it was meant to be played. If it were up to me i'd go back to barbaric times, chop the hands off cheaters so they can no longer play games but hey that's just me. I don't think some people realise the cost that is involved with getting rid of these parasite cheaters and coders.

: It also depends on which times of the day you play ARAMs. Bots are very prevalent at night time. Also there are bots that are levelling up in Players vs AI modes. I call them the 'gromp bots' because they just try to farm jungle camps. If the camp is not there, then they recall and go to a different one. One time I totally trolled a bot because I noticed that it wanted to "help" me get the Baron, so I just let it die to the Baron :)

Maybe you play with 4 of you're mates so you never get a bot on the team or maybe the bot's are out in bigger numbers during the day and less at night. Dodgers need longer penalties anyway. Imagine getting a one hour queue ban for a first offence, might make these kids who dodge think twice.

Riot does the same thing with scripters and boosted accounts - you won't see anymore banned until rewards come out because Riot bans them in quarterly ban waves.

There needs to be weekly checks on reports. ARAM is pretty much unplayable at the moment, worst I saw was 4 bots on one team. Usually one to two bots on each side lately. If I was Riot I would be suing the script kiddies and websites selling the cheats. Send them bankrupt and make them homeless.

You can pretty much farm the honour system now with premade teams or clubs, players giving each other honours instead of those that deserve it so I think being able to honour opponents shouldn't be a problem.

Seems the coders know about the easy way to tell a bot which is them having no keystones, just saw a few bots lately that have keystones now. I'm sure the admins can't or won't reply to this question but why not sue a certain website that advertises the bot program? : Hey Plutooh, everyone's concerns have not gone unheard. We're taking a look at our current bot detection and seeing if anything new needs to be done. Bot detection is a constant arms race just like anticheat, where we create better detection and bot creators continue to create better ways to hide their bots. It also doesn't help that bots typically can play quite a lot of games before we're able to ban them as we rely on reports (yes your reports do count) and other patterns to catch them. As for the games you played today, I investigated them and found that there was only one bot. Please continue to report them and we'll continue to work on our detection methods.

: I'm fairly certain that this could be largely fixed with a small amount of effort. I had a few aram's this morning, got a bunch of bots in them, roughly 9 in two games. Fine, so I reported them. While being bored at work this afternoon I jumped on op.gg to have a look at these bots. And it was really easy to see a pattern, the account levellers log a mass of bots on at times when there are not many other people on and spam a bunch of aram's. And there were quite a few games in these bot's history that were all bots. I'd imagine the idea being if the whole game is bots, there's no one to report them. It was also very easy to find new bots using op.gg, as they spam a few games in a row their "recently played with..." list is just full of other bots. In less than 10 minutes on the website I had pages open of over 20 bots all under level 30, snowball and cleanse summoners, only ever played arams, all with the same naming convention (an actual name with a few random letters added on) many showing purchasing of oracles extract. I could have carried on finding more without much trouble. So simply reviewing logs of large increases of aram queues at low traffic times would undoubtedly provide riot with a large list of bots. Once you have that list, review their match history and you'll find even more. It may be possible to identify a IP or mac address to ban with such a large sample size? But I don't know much about that side of things. I'm aware that the account levellers would eventually change tactics and new methods would have to be found to combat them. I will admit I'm a little bit confused as to why this hasn't already been done. If some nobody like me can identify a large group of bots, then what excuse does the player behaviour team have, with all their reporting tools at their disposal, for not doing so? If anyone is in a position to know the answer to that, I'd love to hear it.

Couldn't agree more. They are one of the worst companies for letting their PAYING customers know whats going on, I mean how fucking hard is it to put a post up saying we are aware of the issue and are working on fixing it?? I'm 100% certain if these bots got into ranked games the problem would of been fixed years ago but it's ARAM so Riot don't give a shit.
: Low Priority Queue In Oceania
As was mentioned you are only punished by having to wait X amount of time before joining the queue. i.e. A friend had a power blackout a few times during a thunderstorm and came back and had a popup on screen telling him he had to wait 5 minutes before he could join the next game. Once those 5 minutes were up he could join a queue normally. I played this morning for an hour or so and never had issues joining a game and was usually in queue for no more than a minute or two. At the end of the day though when you are playing with others as a team each person relies on the other to play a part, if you're internet is that bad you really shouldn't be playing games like league, I think the system works quite well, only thing I would change is dodgers having to wait even longer.

: What level are you and what is your win/loss ratio? You should eventually be a in a MMR with players only.

You should eventually be a in a MMR with players only. Player only games is where the bots are, OP means kids starting new accounts and running cheats on them to level them up and usually only used in ARAM.
: Still so many bots in aram
It's been going on as others have said for years, Riot don't know how to fix the problem which is why they haven't said anything to the PAYING customers end of the day I play for fun so I only play ARAM = No more spending money on the game until the issue is fixed.

: Bots in ARAM and proliferation of such.
Riot have a)always been money hungry and b) they don't care because it's only ARAM and c) they have no idea how to fix the problem. ;)

Yes it will run LoL and easily run Minecraft
: Aram leveling bots.
Riot don't care about bots, it's ARAM they won't fix the issue until there is bots in ranked. Riot need to sell the game to a company that knows what they are doing to fix the problem.

: 70% Bots in ARAM
Riot can't work out how to stop the bots that's why it's been going on so long. They also don't care about fixing the issue because it's only ARAM. If it was ranked or any other mode they might look into it but ARAM they just stick their heads in the ground. Personally, I just leave the game if it's filled with bots, I'm not going to waste 20 minutes of my time playing with cheaters. I will just message support if i get penalised for leaving a game full of bots and Riot can compensate me for lost time. ;)

: BANNED. I hate the league community.
I believe Riot don't usually ban for a first offence, it's usually a chat ban or suspension for a first offence which makes me wonder how many other times you have been warned.
: the people who say "gg ez" is what makes it so hard for you to play this game. Whoa man. Try working, just one day in your life, and not using your parents money to do what you want with. Trust me the work force is a much MUCH more toxic environment

Whoa man. Try working, just one day in your life, and not using your parents money to do what you want with. Trust me the work force is a much MUCH more toxic environment Considering I'm likely old enough to be your father and likely have more money than your whole family combined I say you might be the one who needs to get out in the sunshine a little more kiddo. I also never said those who say 'gg ez' make it hard to play the game, I said they were scrubs. So next time, don't be so quick to judge people you don't know. ;)

: common mate 45mins getting flamed for no reason then a ban when they surrender just before were going to win OK i swore a lot i was angry i haven't been banned in 7 years the people coming into the game are ruining it how are u supposed to cheer up

Perm bans I would of thought would be for multi offences so.....

: BOTS in league
I wouldn't waste your time asking on the forums, Riot don't seem to like responding about the bot problem to their PAYING players who keep this game alive. My guess is a) They have no idea how to fix the problem. and/or b) It mainly happens in ARAM and not ranked so they don't really care. Either way I'm just glad I don't need to spend anymore real money on this game, between the bots, leavers, AFK'ers and trash talking 'gg ez' scrubs it's not worth investing money in anymore.
