only just learnt about all of this and would love to try and play in next years local OCAL
: How will this affect builds or off meta picks that rely on the raw stat boost that comes from the current runes and mastery system to work? e.g. I play a fair bit of Rakan Jungle and need the attack speed that I get from runes and masterys in order to clear the jungle early and remain relevant in the game. I very much doubt that you would buff rakan's attack speed by the 33% that i get from runes and masterys to make it work. Whilst this particular role may be off-meta for rakan surely quite a few people do the same kind of thing on other champs and the freedom to explore off-meta builds/picks may be ruined by this direction.
This is true in many ways. For Example: Me and a good friend of mine have practiced to perfect duo bot non meta combos mainly **full Armor runes and masteries for ADC Rammus{{champion:33}} and SUPPORT Taric{{champion:44}}**. To be good in bot lane they both rely on that extra armor to start off so Rammus gets damage from the armor and taric can boost his armor. This also applies for my Taric Jungle I use Taric's damage bonus from his bonus armor to get damage from his passive(Bravado) and his E (Dazzle) Not trying to be a downer about the changes, I am actually looking forward to it but the out-of-meta game styles of many players or champs may be affected Until then keep it cool Riot and we shall see where it takes us. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}

: it's not true damage. the % armour reduction doesn't add. it's not 60% armour reduction, it's 51% armour reduction. also, the armour penetration from last whisper and it's items only applies to BONUS armour. also learn to spell armour please.

Malygos (OCE)
: It's multiplicative, applying the strongest % first afaik. So in your first example: Last Whisper's 45% is applied first, reducing 100 by 45% to 55. Then either Judgement or Black Cleaver, reducing 55 by 30% to 38.5. Then the other, reducing 38.5 by 30% to 26.95. Which is a total of 100 - 26.95 = 73.05% armour penetration. In your second example: Yasuo's bullshit is applied first, reducing 100 by 50% to 50. Then Last Whisper, reducing 50 by 45% to 27.5. Then whatever mastery nonsense, reducing 27.5 by 7% to 25.575. For a total of 100 - 25.575 = 74.425% armour penetration. But knowing Riot, they've probably got some convoluted senseless, obfuscated soft caps that make a mess of any reasonable understanding of actual damage your opponent will take.

: I disagree. People should be free to experiment and play whatever character they want in whatever lane they want, the meta changes. I remember once upon a time jungle wasn't even an actual lane and it was 2 top, 1 mid and 2 bot. I've had the most fun when my team didn't fit in the current META like the time we had 1 in each lane and 2 junglers or when we had 3 mid or this ONE time we ran around as a 5 man gank group and just killed any lane that pushed too far in. Meta changes and you can't restrict and one class to any lane, Lol changes constantly and that freedom is what makes it fun.

I understand the meta changes all the time me and a friend love duo bot because we can make the bot lane mad because of our meta. for example taric and ramus bot with ramus as adc and bot of us just build flat armor so rammus becomes an adc due to his passive and he get more armor from taric's bond ability we both take the bond of stone mastery and I get knight vow to give more armor and after we win lane we target all the enemy ad champs. its so fun. but I wasn't saying they should change the whole game just try and make a game mode for example to allow people to just have those class battles with out interference from other lanes (jungle can still go where ever they please obviously) to put the players skill with a specific class againt an other player using the same class.
: Some thoughts on Support
I'm a **Support Main** and when it comes to the laning phase is you are matched against an opposing **Support** that is not a **Support** eg. **'Mage'** or **'Assassin'** it become very hard to engage upon the enemy bot lane due to the sheer amount of early game damage that **Mage** or **Assassin** has on top of you. So I thought it might be cool if Riot messed around with a game mode or implemented an actual change to the game where there would be an actual class based laning phase for like the first 10 minutes or something. For example in the champ select you pick a class of champion like **Marksman** or **Support** and then you have to pick a champion that has that role in their primary or secondary roles. So then depending on what Role you chose depends on what lanes you get locked into during the first 10-15 minutes of laning phase. So in the start of the match it will always be a.... **1v1 top lane** restricted to the **Tank** and **Fighter** classes of champions. **2v2 bottom lane** restricted to 1 **Marksman** and 1 **Support** class champion **1v1 middle lane** Restricted to **Slayers** and **Mages** and then there is the **Jungler**. Who is not restricted to a lane at the start of the game for obvious reasons and is not restricted to a class selection either so their choice of class has a lot more impact early game eg. if you picked a burst champ you would be able to gank earlier then most or if you picked a tank you would be able to stay in the field longer with out going back to base. This may also help the junglers to either want to hunt/stalker the enemy jungler early game to put them behind or to steal their jungle creeps while they are attempting a gank. This game style would invoke a lot more counter play in the jungle game I would assume. So please Riot, or at least Meddler and the community, read this and leave much feedback on the idea. {{sticker:zombie-brand-mindblown}}

One wish and suggestion for Riot if they wish to make money off of skins. Me (and probably the rest of the league community) would love to see a **High Noon** skin for **Graves**. With an actual **Double-Barrel** Shotgun. With either a full length or sawn-off barrel. Would love to hear back from the community and most of all Riot on what they think of this idea. {{champion:104}}

: Yo! Sure, any mode we've previously done is a potential candidate to go into the RGM queue. So, Doom Bots, Black Market Brawlers, etc. We're still optimising the process for maintaining the current stable of modes and just added Definitely Not Dominion as a 'newish' mode, so I can't make any promises for when they might come. I'm personally interested in extending the queue beyond the weekend atm (no ETA), so maybe after that we'll have a look.

Dear L4T3NCY, I would like to ask if the 5v5 Bilgewater game mode would ever possibly be considered as a week end game mode in the rotating game queue, because I thought it was one of the best and added in extra strategies on how to push and win.

If its a **reference to a champion being a bard**, I think it could turn out to be a champion **like the god Apollo** from smite cause **he is the bard of the gods** but on smite Apollo is like {{champion:37}} crossed with {{champion:21}} except its a male. But still, if its anything like Apollo from smite that's going to be awesome. Because who doesn't want to have a musical cowboy that uses his hands as guns.
