Personally I'm loving the Twitter interaction you guys have going on and not even just because I got to be the first one of the season. Maybe occasionally head it in the direction of viewers asking questions rather than giving their opinions, particularly when you have players as guests on the show. For example asking us to tweet questions for Carbon to answer. The questions could have a specific theme, such as jungling at a professional level or just left wide open like where he stands in the #spawnbearddebate. In any case please keep featuring tweets on the show! {{summoner:11}} {{summoner:11}} {{summoner:11}}

Hey Spawn, love the casting! Few questions from me, What made you decide to make shoutcasting your career? Did you have any inspirations when you started? Have you cast any games other than LoL? Why did you decide to look like RUSTY??? {{summoner:11}}

: Okay, two key tips here. First, don't overthink the spaghetti. Throw it in a pot of boiling water for 11 minutes max. Add a pinch of salt. No oil -- I know it's tempting to get the noodles nice and slippery, but if you add oil, the sauce won't stick to the pasta. Secondly, brown the mince properly. In my younger days I used to throw all the mince in the pan at once, but what that did was cause the water in the meat to escape into the pan and essentially boil the underside of the meat. Once I learned to take my time and cook the mince in even batches, I was able to achieve that dank Maillard reaction and get some nice, crusty, browned meat.
Wait can you elaborate on the mince thing. Do you put only a little mince in at a time to avoid all the water escaping?

Which generation of Pokemon have you enjoyed the most? Also what is your favourite non-legendary Pokemon? (I also always read your name as Mannister)
: Wait are you the person who was on the spectating computer?
No but I was casting next to him
: NZGC this morning
So funny story about the spectator being disconnected there. APPARENTLY (I really do not remember doing this) while casting the game I somehow kicked out the ethernet cable to the spectating PC. On the issue of pauses the players were on new PC's they weren't used to so there are usually problems that come up with just not being used to the set up. There were way less pauses later on during the day.
: Out of curiosity, what sort of fan interaction would you like to see between pros and their fans?
I'd love to see video interviews where pros talk about being in the OPL, how their team is going mid split, maybe even throw in some trash talk. Just something that shows the personality of the players so you can really get behind a team.
: Absolutely! UNSW and UofA have a great rivalry! Will it continue? Will another Uni step up?
Hopefully this time Otago isn't knocked out of the first round by the first place team!

: We're making a couple of significant changes to the OPL format for 2016, specifically: - all regular season matches will be best of three, - each split will run for ten weeks. The way this will work is that the league will have two groups (e.g. A and B). Group A plays a double round robin, Group B plays a double round robin, and Group A teams play vs Group B teams in a cross-group single round robin. [EDIT:] All teams are still playing on a single ladder, with standings from 1 through 8. Effectively, within a split, every team will still play each of the others once, and some twice.
Seems a little strange that some teams are played once and some are twice.
: OPL 2016 Season - Q&A
Will we see Riot involved with the University Championship in season 6? It was a ton of fun to be involved with this year!
: We ran player cams at the OPL Final, and would love to bring them to our studio at some point. We don't have plans on doing them right now (We are definitely making some production improvements next year) however that doesn't mean we won't add them at some point.
Can you give us any teasers on the production improvements?
: The Oceanic Pro League belongs to Oceania, not just Sydney or Melbourne and I think it's important for the location of the regions biggest event to reflect that. However, finding esports venues is not easy! We're still in the process of scouting and finalising a venue for next year and hope to announce early 2016.
Hey Vector Arena is a pretty great venue!
: OPL 2016 Season - Q&A
To Benji - Any chance we can get a camera for each player during OPL next season? Currently it's just one camera per team!

: Thanks for the quick reply, sorry I didnt reply earlier I was too busy making it my own champion select music. Do you have a playlist of all of the music that the OPL uses for their streams, similar to the way that the NA LCS and the EU LCS has a list of music [that they use for the LCS **here** ](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/203822794-2015-Season-LCS-Music-List) ? Thanks again, og1764
Seconding this question, I love the OCE broadcast music more than the other regions by far! A major step up from the days of Pentakill on repeat!

Maraudaur (OCE)
: Hey Summoners, Maraudaur here to give you an update about **Community** and what we have been working on. We have been working on more ways to support the community. Our newest feature is the [Community Events Portal!](http://events.oce.leagueoflegends.com/) this is your one stop shop for events run by the community for the community. For players looking to participate this is the place to look for events happening online or live in your area. For players that are looking to organise events this is the place to go to register your event. Not only will this get your event up on our page, but approved tournaments will also receive prizing from us (Just make sure to read the FAQs). We have a tonne of Boarding Parties happening (Bilgewater themed community events) so make sure to check it out. We’ve also been working closely with community groups and university clubs to help them deliver better experiences and prizes to their members, if you run regular events or have ideas on what we can do to help you help your community please get in touch! You can find me on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/RiotMaraudaur) and [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100006763489424). The boards have also been around for a while now and it's picking up pretty well. We’ve had a few Q&A’s from international Rioters ranging from people who shoutcast to people who create champions you can check some of them out [here](http://boards.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/zEhMeJ1b-im-david-phreak-turley-ask-me-stuff) and [here](http://boards.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/bRM5LnY0-meddler-lead-champion-designer-qa). There are also numerous Q&A’s from pro players in the OPL which you can find in the [Esports subboard](http://boards.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/esports). The boards is a great place to come to talk to players and Rioters alike so log on and join the discussions or even jump on and share your feedback about what we could do to make it even better. On our social media we have had a few channels for fan artists and cosplayers to display their talents but recognise that we've also got great video creators in the OCE community, so we've created a portal where they can submit their video creations to us [here](http://woobox.com/3udwwu).We will check out all submissions and it's an opportunity for them to possibly featured on the League of Legends OCE Facebook page. If you have any questions about any of this, or any questions in general, the team will do their best to answer them below!
Hey Maraudaur! I see that you're looking at featuring video creators but have you considered featuring streamers too? In fact I remember that being a thing a few years ago but I can't remember if that was back when we lived on the NA server or not.
: Hey Rito! **I'm currently in the middle of applying for the eSports job offer you guys have up** (http://www.riotgames.com/careers/25634) and I just wanted to double check with you guys about a few things: 1. Is there any education/age requirements to apply? 2. Would I, or anyone else applying, have to be currently living in Sydney? If I, or someone else, gets the job and the answer is yes, then would I, or someone else, have to find a way to move over there myself or would you guys help me, or someone else, in any way to move over there? 3. Could the particular position available evolve into a different position in the future, e.g. caster, cameraman, producer etc.? 4. Finally, what are some other options of getting into the eSports scene, or Riot in general, as a job that I, or anyone else, could pursue if I don't end up being eligible or don't end up getting the job? Cheers for the responses guys! :)
I too would love to see the answers to these questions!
: Hey mate, I handle our Broadcast and am also a part of the eSports team. Happy to answer any questions you have!
In regards to the broadcasting, how many people do you (or would you want to) have in your team for your important broadcasts? A breakdown of all the different jobs that are covered would be cool too!
: Hey everyone, Conquisitor here to give you all an update on hiring! When the first work on the server started out it was just MasterMirkinen and Loote. Since then we've been aiming to find the best talent to help us deliver the best gaming experience and service we can. We now have a number of Rioters working across Live Services, Publishing, Esports and Talent who are focused on improving the player experience here. Some of the more recent hires include a content editor and video editor for the creative services team and a recruiter. These Rioters have only just started in the last couple of weeks so you might see them popping up on the boards soon. We're also looking for more Rioters to join the team. The roles we have open here are: * Head of People * Broadcast Manager * Esports - League Operations * Director of Technology * Analyst * Visual Designer * Player Behaviour Specialist You can read more about them [here](http://www.riotgames.com/careers/?offices=1427&depts=) If you have any questions about working at Riot or the recruitment process let me know in the comments below!
Hey Conquisitor! I'm super interested in the esports side of things and in particular the Broadcasting of it. I run the esports club at my university in New Zealand and as such I've put on a few tournaments myself and run the broadcasting side of things too. I've been a part of other projects such as last semester's Oceanic Collegiate Championship running the broadcast team for that. I'd love to talk to some of the people involved and hear about what they do for Riot on both the Esports Team and the Broadcast Team. I'm always looking to improve my work and I imagine the people in those teams are some of the best. Secondly, what would it take to stand out to Riot? Do you simply go for the most experienced and qualified applications or are there certain qualities you might spot in someone that would make their application shine just a little brighter?

Hey buddy I may not be Maraudaur but I am part of the broadcast team. We do already have all of our casters lined up for the majority of the tournament. I believe once we get to the grand finals though the OPL team does indeed take over.

: I'm at the shopping cart page and it seems the tickets are priced at $19.40. Even accounting for exchange rates this seems more than $15 AUD. The booking fee is listed as only $0.39 so it's not that. I'm not sure how this has worked out to be that much more? (I'm in New Zealand)

Once you buy a ticket are you 100% locked into that seat? I want to buy a ticket but I don't want to be separated from any friends.
: Alex Flores, Senior Illustrator Q&A
Hey Alex! Were there any splash arts (or art of any kind for that matter) that didn't make it through to the final version that you really wish did? Like say you did some kickass art for your favourite champion but then you were told to go back and redesign it?
: There is not a deadline, we are looking at filling the position when we find the right casters. We will be evaluating them as they come in.
I imagine you'll have your choice some time before March 17th though?
