: This is going to hurt a lot of players that had big intentions to use OOL as leverage to work up to the top. They have nothing to look forward to outside of solo queue in 2018 now. It seems as though it's going to only further distance the skill gap between solo queue players and already established full time players. Just one less avenue for the masses imho, not sure how I feel about this.
Hey SuperSkitzzo, Don't worry, Summoners Society has your back! We are running tournaments all year to help improve players. We have very similar style tournament to OOL. Check it out! https://battlefy.com/summonerssociety/summoners-ladder-week-1/5a1e13ea040b32035449bc1b/info?infoTab=details

Wow! That is really cool. Great job!
: OCE in Esport
Hello, We are a Facebook group that runs tournaments quite regularly for the community. Its is our goal to have an event on every weekend and run a ladder in the off season to help players keep growing. You probably wont find official riot tournaments that are not for pro players. Currently its up to the community to provided these. Riot OCE is quite small, so their main focus is more on setting up pro scene at the moment, which is fair enough, there really inst enough money in the scene at the moment. We have an article on tournaments and where to find them: https://www.summoners-society.com/tournaments-places-to-find-them/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/SummonersSocietyOCE/ So hopefully this can help you as a player and hopefully have more talent come through! As for your comments on improving the scene, the more the community get behind the pro scene the more money can go towards it and help it improve! So getting people to was OCS/OPL, supporting your teams with icons etc.. OCE is small and new, it will take time to get at place where its strong. Things that can help improve the scene -Tournaments for members to play in, hopefully find new talent -Supporting OCS/OPL (Viewing parties/watching it!) -Buying icons -Getting your friends into league of legends. -Share the events with family and friends Riot do really need to improve when events are on though, which I think this season they are getting much better at! Its very clear in the client MSI is on. They started a facebook page this year as well, their twitter is good for keeping update to date with events. OPL players don't have to study anymore and have gaming houses. A lot of them have the chance to put in 110% now, so over the next few season, you'll probably notice a big jump improvement. Teams are boot camping over seas now. Hope this helps, SumSoc

: This appears to be a personal dispute between you and the organisers of this community. As such, I think it's most appropriate to resolve any issues between the parties involved in a more private channel, aside from the Boards. If you have any questions related to the Boards guidelines, please review the guidelines described on the left-hand side of this page, as well as the Boards [**Universal Rules**](http://boards.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/announcements/BjArMH2B-boards-universal-rules). >This is a place to talk all things clubs; >How do I start a club? Where can I find existing clubs to join? What kinds of activities do clubs host? recruiting for clubs challenging other clubs
Hey Wuks, When Dungeon Warlord posted his comment, I sent a private chat straight away. We also reported it the comment to Riot as well. We agree this is not appropriate place to discuss this issue. Thank you, SumSoc
: I tried to talk to admin on more than one occasion. I gave you over a week to process my request from the form you made me fill out(no reply). I requested another form to fill out, as this is the process you told me to follow. Your response was to kick me from the group so honestly I don't want to be a part of it. I stand by my previous opinion.
Hey Dungeon Warlord, We understand your frustration but Summoners Society is not at the whim of your personal needs. The admin was unwell and basically away for two weeks with a very bad flu, in that time instead of being patient you where toxic in the group, which it was lead you to being removed. It had nothing to do with your tournament. It was not the first time you where toxic with in the group or in the discord. Your response to when things don't go your way is to become toxic, which isn't fair on the admins or the community to be a part of that. If you ever do one to come back work things, your always welcome! Sorry we couldn't change you mind, but as you can see on our end there is no ill feelings. Have an awesome day and good luck with everything! {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
: Don't believe them, they are a bunch of self serving idiots. They kicked me from the group because I wanted to promote the game through my 1v1 tournaments. Every other group on facebook I have spoken to have been more than helpful in this regard. Their are much better groups than this bunch of clowns.
Hey Dungeon Warlord, You weren't kicked from wanting to promote your tournaments. You where kicked for not following rules and be rude to admins multiple times. As for your tournament not being shared in the group, the admin that approves them was unwell and had the flu for 2 weeks and in that time you where removed from the group because you where posting toxic comments on the page. We are sorry you experience with SumSoc was not a pleasant one, you can always message an admin. We can always lift the ban if you can show that you will no longer break rules or be toxic. We keep screen shots of everything, so we happy to show how you broke the rules, explain and clear everything up! Summoners Society is very focused on keeping the group clean from Toxic behaviour. Have an awesome day and good luck with your 1 v 1 tournaments! {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
