Bringing this post back up. My friend, MysticLlama, told me that he/she "got [a] pm saying that [he/she] had been caught hacking in June 2015" in a region of Australia he/she had never been to. This game used to be good and enjoyable in ranked, not anymore. At least I am fucking trying to point out a problem with this game, but no everyone wants to dig their heads in the sand and do nothing. Fight back and let Riot know there are issues. Almost every ranked loss I get into something goes wrong that is not my fault. > Last game an AFK for the first part of the game, our jungler, when he came back he never ganked any of the lanes whilst their jungler helped bot get fed and made our ADC rage quit because "They are too fed". You tell me, is that my fault? Is that anything I can do to stop happening? Is there anything I can do to win a mostly 4v5 game? > AFKs are not Riot's fault unless there is a problem with the server (I think). A jungler's role is NOT to gank, but most people agree that they should provide map pressure in some way (through vision, ganks, etc.). If the jungler was AFK, he would probably want to farm up so he isn't so behind. If bot was struggling where were you? League is a TEAM game. Did you flame the ADC when they were frustrated? Or did you flame them? > Or am I right in saying there is a fucking problem? I was 3/4/2 at one point in that game, even with no jungler helping and a bot lane feeding, but the minute bot lane quit, actually quit, openly admitted to giving up and quitting 0.3 seconds after his 8th death, I couldn't do anything anymore and starting dying a lot more. > KDA doesn't mean everything. And if you were doing fine, why didn't you help bot? > 3/8 ADC (rage quit, I was 3/5 and hadn't died for 7 minutes to that point), 0/10 Support, 1/8 Jungler. I get top damage in both categories on our team and aside from our ADC, second lowest damage taken which shows I was actually involved in trying to kill the enemy and team fight properly. Our first tower in bot lane, gone 8 minutes in. 8 minutes in I was still poking the enemy and trying to get CS. > No everyone will win lane. We all have games where our laners lose. It's how the game works. > Whilst I hadn't wrecked the enemy mid laner, I was 3/3 by the time we took their second mid tower at 21 minutes and 3/4 at 24 minutes when we lost our first mid lane tower, a far cry from being a combined 1/14 bot lane when that tower finally fell along with the second bot tower. > Well, you had all that time to help bot. > Game before that I get counter picked being second pick (third overall), have our jungler simply giving me shit for almost the entire 51 minutes instead of trying to help and not realise I couldn't really do much in lane and racked up 9 deaths in 21 minutes. For the next 30 minutes after we started grouping I died TWICE and got 7 kills. Yes, 0/9 in the first 21 minutes. But 7/2 in the next 30. I got countered in lane and had zero help, instead I get an asshole who thinks it better to just abuse me, but still actively helped our team win considering I hadn't lost our top tower until the 26 minute mark. > If you don't want to get counter-picked, pick a relatively safe laner or swap champions with someone else. Even if you can't, just because you are in an unfavourable matchup, doesn't mean you are guaranteed to lose. The better player will win. Riot made a mute button for a reason. Maybe the jungler wasn't helping since you were toxic (judging by your attitude)? > Whilst I fed for the first portion of that game, I still managed to do the right thing for the team as best I could, I defended my lane, slowed my opponent down enough so they don't roam and reek havoc and stay in the game until the team fights began. I don't get it, how can someone not defend until the team is capable of organising and winning team fights so we can push to the end and get that win? That is the easiest part of the game. > See? You will sometimes feed, just like your bot lane. People probably feel the same way when you go 0/9. Good job on coming back though. Also, you shouldn't expect other players to do what you think is best, sometimes its best to tell them what would be useful for them to do. > It is not hard, you learn to defend, get 4 lane players who can actually defend, get CS and get the whole team ready and not lose towers in less than 10 minutes, and you get a win. The minute a tower falls you end up with 2-4 players congregating in mid and it's mostly game over. > Tbh you shouldn't expect much from your teammates. YOu should go into every game assuming they know nothing about the game. Tell them what to do if they are doing something wrong. And be polite!

: Literally none of the points you mentioned relate to my post at all. I'm not getting disappointed about people not talking, I'm not forcing anyone to socialise. What I'm saying is it can be frustrating when you cannot communicate with team mates when not one single player speaks English. Much the same if you were playing on LAN (where you said the majority speak Spanish) and your 4 team mates spoke something completely different. Also way to make a huge amount of assumptions about me being an Australian. The majority of people I play with on LoL are either Chinese (which I can speak conversational level) or Korean. My immediate group that I play with are all English speaking Australians sure, but for random duos or pick up normal games they are mostly foreign. My Asian friends mostly all admit they are very clique, and will often flame/bully Aussie players because they are "inferior" and a "trash white dog player". So basically all your assumptions about me make you sound ignorant, or perhaps you've compared me to the "typical bogan Aussie" and you're racist yourself?

: I get it, it's the new META!
Dude, AFK is so OP right now. Passive - Getting a burger brb. Q - Leaves the match. W - Causes everyone to complain about 4v5. E - Causes everyone in the game to rage. R - Comes back to the game when everyone is lvl 18 and then flames because the burger didn't have enough cheese. And also because the team is going to lose. The combo is Q-W-E-R. However, AFK's unique ultimate only comes 45 minutes into the game. Sorry, had to do it. For real though, players going AFK is an annoying issue that seems to be getting worse.
: I'm done with ranked.
Yay! I finally carried my way out of bronze with 2 consecutive wins with Shaco! I also caried both games.
: Vladmir or cassiopeia
Well Vladimir is played both top and mid, whereas Cassiopeia is primarily a midlaner. In my opinion, Vladimir is a much easier champion who is also resourceless. Cassiopeia requires you to use your spells very effectively, as if you miss your abilities you are vulnerable. Vladimir is more mobile, and has an escape. He is tankier too due to his passive. They are both great lane bullies. In my opinion, Cassiopeia does more damage but is much harder to play.

: As someone who has been playing a lot of Shaco recently, i will give you a bit of info. First, here is 2 youtubers that do a lot of shaco stuff, and are both really good with shaco https://www.youtube.com/user/Shaclone/videos https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmSfdtegCsyBe8qCnRu-ijw Pink ward shows you what AP shaco does, and Shaclone is a massive AD shaco player. As for build, while Hydra is expensive it is still fairly core because it aids in your burst and split pushing at the same time. Your "I'm massively ahead" item build should look like {{item:1400}} {{item:3074}} {{item:3087}} {{item:3156}} {{item:3047}} {{item:3143}} This is basically for if you're ahead, it gives you a crap ton of tank stats (armor boots, Randuin's for armor, and Maw for MR.) while still giving a lot of burst in the build (Shiv/Hydra make bursting really easy.) The order of the items heavily depends on the situation you are in, if you need more burst early, shiv is an amazing item for that, sustain is the hydra. Here are you situational items. {{item:3139}} (MR and QSS active) {{item:3142}} (amazing active and nice damage/amr pen) {{item:3036}} /{{item:3033}} (Armor heavy team) {{item:3026}} /{{item:3102}} (situational Defensive items) {{item:3111}} (substitute boots.) And a start that i love that Shaclone does is take the {{item:1041}} and a {{item:1006}} this will replace your pots, and give you an item towards hydra while still giving you that early sustain.

I got the On-hit Shaco build from Shaclone lol. I'm a huge fan of his channel. Thanks for the guide! Much appreciated.

: Hey man, I thought you were done with ranked but after reading your post it looks like you are actually looking for help and being open to feedback on how to improve (which is awesome by the way!) So hopefully some of what I say can be helpful. First off let me just say it is extremely easy to find other reasons for your losses, due to the nature of league every player is to some degree at fault for a loss. I've been there before - http://boards.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-strategy/Ais2m0qd-my-ranked-journey-the-last-4-days-1-win-10-losses - but in the end its not productive, there is always something you could have done to push the game in your favor. There are two huge parts to ranked your own MINDSET and your GAMEPLAY (this includes mechanics and knowledge and experience) I talk a lot about it here - http://boards.oce.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-strategy/zVgleF4L-im-loosing-rank-even-more?comment=0000 Pasted below for you > Welcome to the Ranked climb! > > Its great to see you are open to advice in your journey. I'll talk about two things to try and help you on the Ranked Ladder. Your game play and how to improve and your attitude towards the game. > > I'm going to start with attitude first because I believe this is one of the most important things to get right before you can improve and climb fast. > > **Attitude** > When you are playing Ranked focus on your own gameplay, never look to push blame onto others. Unless you are literally Faker then there are probably things you could have done better to put your team in a position to win. Check out this video from Gbay99 - https://youtu.be/5MTO2a7ZFcc > > Always stay positive, if you don't have something nice to say don't say it. If you are negative in your team chat not only will you add fire to the fuel but you could also potentially start your team on a downward spiral to fighting each other in chat instead of playing the game and trying to win. Remember League of Legends is a team game you have to work together as a team to win. #TeamWorkOP - https://youtu.be/ugXC7g3p0JU > > **Gameplay** > You've only just started on your ranked journey, there is going to be a lot to learn (hell I've played for 4 years and still have lots to learn). Don't get discouraged by losses and make sure you learn something from every death (why did you die? were you out of position? misjudged damage of opponent? etc) and make sure you always continue to learn about the game. There is a lot more to this game than just csing and fighting champions. > > Check out this sick play list from UNSW LoL Society - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9RdXhXESRJzgY_SwHB8T-cZxXljWhQvz > > It will teach you a lot about trading in lane, lane control, team fighting, and also how to use a lead. > > Hope this all helps and good luck on the Rift! Now on to some specific tips for you! It looks like you love to play Shaco, I'm no Shaco expert or challenger player but here are some things I would say about Shaco. 1) He is an early game champion! Shaco has a 56% winrate in games that end by 25 minutes. 2) Shaco is made for snowballing 3) Shaco is a ADC, He is primarily an AD damage dealer (there are ways to play him AP top I believe but I'm no expert at that and it is extremely uncommon) So one explanation for you feeling like you have to do extremely well to win is because, on Shaco you do. Not only do you have to snowball early on Shaco you have to understand how to leverage that early lead to take objectives and create picks to secure the win. Once again not a Shaco expert but looking at pro builds it does look like they go for hyper aggressive summoners and build full AD to take advantage of their early snowballs. It looks like they get {{item:1400}} or {{item:1412}} into {{item:3074}} , {{item:3142}} , {{item:3031}} [http://probuilds.net/champions/details/Shaco] Looking at your history it looks like you favour {{item:3932}} , {{item:3146}} , {{item:3124}} and {{item:3153}}. While this on hit attack speed build is definitely viable and powerful for shaco specifically I feel it takes a tad too long to scale up. My tips for you would be try out building Shaco full AD like the pros Warriors enchant and Hydra provide power earlier than Devourer and guinsoos. Not to mention AD especially Hydra gives you split push potential, which is something Shacos need. So my main tip for you would be to try out the AD build and maybe find some pro VOD's of them playing Shaco and see how they move around the map. P.S. Bonus hint - upgrade your trinket, If you're an assassin AD carry like Shaco get the {{item:3364}} deny the enemy team vision make sure whenever they farm a wave a lone mid to late game you can pop out of nowhere and assassinate their mid or marksmen. GL man and always here to help

I have recently been building Shaco with Devourer because I feel it is a better build for S6, since Hydra is so expensive. Looks like I might have to go back to AD Shaco. Also, I always forget to upgrade my trinket. Thanks for reminding me.

: Bro bro, calm down yeah Now. listen to this story. If faker comes to play on your account.. Do you reckon he can get out of bronze? I think the answer is pretty obvious. Ofc he can. Now what u need to understand is, u need to be a lot better then the elo you are in, to get out of whatever ur at. Its that simple. If u can't get our of that elo, it simply means ur not good enuff. That being said, im not saying faker can win every single game he plays but the probability of him winning is much higher then yours. So that means yes you have to do extremely well to win. Once you get a lot better, you will climb.
