: [RESOLVED] 4th - 8th May 2018 - Game start issues for Optus players.
I tried to play 3 games on Saturday and I couldn't connect to any of them. Restarting PC and instantly launching League would allow to me to see the loading screen and start loading in but my PC is too slow and usually they remake before I'm loaded. I am scared to play anymore games as I don't want to disrupt others and get a leaver buster punishment. EDIT: Was able to queue and a join a game, in loading screen atm.

What level are you and what is your win/loss ratio? You should eventually be a in a MMR with players only.

: I don't know how relevant it may be but this worked for me. I simply used internet explorer instead of Chrome to view the links and it worked whereas it kept doing the loop back to login on Chrome.

: From some further investigation, It looks like we're having some issues with particular accounts within Oceania that prevents them from loading the page. If you've tried all the above things, then it's likely that you're account is one of the impacted ones. The team who is responsible for the site is currently looking into a fix, but there's no ETA as of yet.
As long as I get to see my stats before you take down that part of the site, then I'm happy.

Refreshes the page, the url attempts to add the /personal-stats but it instantly goes back to the normal page.

I am having the same problem. Just keeps reloading. I have logged in and out multiple times and am on the Oceanic version.

: Hey there, As far as I'm aware there is currently a known issue causing some players to crash during the loading screen. Read the quoted post from dartagnan below for more info and a potential fix. >We've been tracking an issue with this patch where players who have the patcher pinned (instead of the desktop shortcut) to their Windows Task Bar consistently crash/Bug Splat when they attempt to get into a game after Champ Select. Just letting you know it's with everything client related, queuing up, browsing store, selecting champion etc. If this goes on for too long an extension for the Ascension game mode should be given.

: I'll explain it all for everyone's reference: If the community unlocks the 5th prize (free mystery champ) and you've already got all the champs, you'll receive a mystery skin instead but it **will not** be double legendary chance. _Editing in my other response:_ We've had to change it to the standard gifting rule as it wasn't possible to customize the mystery champion rules for what could be such a large prize out. So if you have less than 10 unowned champions you'll get a mystery skin instead.
Last year it was if you have less than 10 unowned champions you gain a mystery skin. Just double checking is this year ALL and not less than 10 champions?

One thing I'm worried about is premade/solo match making. I understand you have made the system match players so it can be fair, but a low population server like OCE is sure to get unfair 5 man premades vs 5 Solos or majority solo. This already happens to things like Normal Blind Pick and Twisted Treeline where 5 man premades are matched verse 2 duos and a solo player or a duo and 3 solo players. I have a feeling this is going to happen a lot, I'd rather wait in queue for an hour to get a fair balanced match making system even if that game lasts for 15 minutes than have short queues with a bad experience.

Don't have any RP sorry otherwise I would of loved to. Be careful though I don't recommend doing this with strangers. Many people have been tricked into gifting and not getting anything back.

: The legendary snowball actually starts at 19:00 AEDT on December 23. We made a mistake on the version of the oce site showing - eg it didn't have the Australian time added. If you purchased a legendary skin between 00:01 and 19:00 AEDT today can you please contact support. If you already contacted support, you can reopen the ticket and we'll get it cleared up. Really sorry about this, I totally understand the frustration of not having the right start time on the site :(

Yeah well, we figured it out. The point is the time was not included causing many (myself included) to buy a Legendary skin and not receive a mystery skin. I shouldn't have to go search a Rioter's twitter for information.

What you quoted shows no time of the start. Everyone assumed it would start December 23 12am just like weekly sales do. You just quoted the problem how is that supposed to help? Especially since they gave the time that it ends but not the start.

Yea we figured it out 7pm it will activate, but Riot said 23rd of December so everyone assumed it can be bought 12am onwards. We contact support telling that the announcement was not clear and they say too bad.

Hi Krawia, Thank you for taking the time to contact me. I am sorry to hear that you did not get anything after buying Dragon Trainer Tristana. I understand how frustrating the situation is, especially since you must have been excited to receive a free Mystery Skin from our Legendary Snowball promotion. However, I checked your transactions and found out that you actually bought Dragon Trainer Tristana before December 23, which explains why you did not obtain a Mystery Skin. This also means that I cannot give you one. Regarding your request, I see that you already used up all your Refund Tokens. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an extra one. Each account is limited to a total of three per lifetime (one-time use only). Once they have been depleted, we are not able to restore them. Also, there is currently no way to receive more than three Refund Tokens per account. This feature was developed to give Summoners a chance to exchange content they regretted buying or purchased accidentally, but we had to limit the number of refunds we could reasonably grant within the game. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Update: Riot Support refuses to gift the mystery skin because it was OCE time and not NA. If that is the case then isn't it Riot OCE's job to convert times and dates relevant to our server in an announcement? Now I basically got cheated by both Riot Support and whomever wrote the OCE Snowdown announcement just shows they copied and pasted it. A mystery skin is only $5 not much but I still want it, not because of the price but because that is HOW you advertised it.

: Sorry guys. We've got a team working on this all night but I've not gotten any new info yet. I do believe OCE was the next region to receive the Snowdown Shop. I'll try to give one last update before I log off for the night. UPDATE EDIT: As of 12:45 AM AEDT, Snowdown Shop is still experiencing issues and will remain offline for at least a few more hours, possibly extending well into the day. We want this feature to be as good an experience as you'd expect, so thank you for your patience as we try to get it online and working correctly.
