: Dude, I actually love Brutal Legend its a pretty lit game. I can imagine the concepts that would come up in the design process. Like imagine if you could get rights from Bethsda. Illaoi ults = Fus Ro Dah xD *Queue Skyrim theme song*
god that would be so epic!

: whoa hey look who's third place now that we've reshuffled those results
:O!!!! its a real shame about the plagiarised artwork but thanks for the tie for third!
Achenar (OCE)
: I am so down for a universe in which Pentakill perform at epic metal concerts and then on weekends hunt dragons. Gives me Brutal Legend vibes, a little. BEST IDEA.
im actually in love with that idea its amazing! so glad you like my illaoi though! I feel like her personality would really fit the pentakill skin line

Congrats everyone! So many incredible artworks. Im so excited to see what everyone creates for the next prompts!

: I've just tested, and it looks like you're absolutely correct! I'd misunderstood how it worked - you can only vote for each entry once, but can place multiple votes overall. Which is how I originally wanted it to work and couldn't figure out...so great! ;) **You can vote for multiple entries.**
yay! Now I can vote for so many more artworks {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}

: Hello, I realise in hindsight I should have asked this earlier, I was wondering if the works I submitted could be submitted as a single entry? as besides the main image the others show development or other functions. The first four images are the submissions in question https://www.nickoei.com/. The first image being the finalised concept, second of scale comparison and art direction following, third is an orthographic for 3D models and fourth is some iteration development before being toned down to suit in game. Hovering the image should show the same file names as those submitted. Nicholas_Oei_Lunar_Revel_01**,** Nicholas_Oei_Lunar_Revel_02**,** Nicholas_Oei_Lunar_Revel_03 **and** Nicholas_Oei_Lunar_Revel_04 Thank you and Cheers :D
gosh this looks absolutely incredible!!
: DUDE! That is so rad! Best of luck to you! Love them details!

: Thank you my dude! Did you enter this time too? {{sticker:katarina-love}}
Yep! Couldn't resist trying my hand at Warring Kingdoms Kindred!
: Heya, I submitted my black and white Aurelion Sol art file but I was hoping to submit a web page (similar to my Star Guardian Nami web page) that has all my development work on it as well. In any case this is the URL https://feardakez.com/aurelionsol/ Thank you for your time. -Kez
another amazing set of concepts. You always do such a great job. It makes me so excited to see Aurelion get some love too!
: I took maybe 80ish hours? Took a bit too long haha! Your Aurelion Sol was so cool! I liked all the colours and how he would be the first star <3 Yaaassss
DAMN well all that effort really showed! I wish I could make something as cool as that haha. Glad you liked my aurelion though!
Sunbean (OCE)
: Well done for the winners and honourable mentions! I was wondering though, why so many of the same champions are featured in the winners/honourable mentions such as multiple ones of leona/diana/xayah/annie etc... it would've been nice to see some different champion ideas featured for winners/honourable mentions :o anyway, here was my submission of star guardian taliyah: [Artstation Link](https://www.artstation.com/artwork/RdqEe) didnt make the cut but hey maybe next time ^_^ {{sticker:sg-lulu}}
I love your Taliyah so much. If that was a skin I would buy it so quickly! The details you put into the outfit suit her so much too. The stars on her sleeves and the gradient colour, the cut of the coat, those boots and that little see-through cloak! Seriously, amazing job. I really wish I could play that in-game.
: Yay! I'm so glad you liked my 3D sculpt {{champion:497}} {{champion:498}} ! Congrats to everyone who was mentioned! There's so much great stuff in here <3 (not-so-subtle hints we all want more star guardian skins) {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-rainbows}}
your 3d sculpt was awesome! How long did it take you to do?
: HEEEEY CONGRATS!!! :D {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
thanks! Congrats to you too. I had a feeling you would be on the list. You really put so much effort in, it's amazing!

: Star Guardian 2017 Fanwork Contest - Winners!
Ahh I'm so excited that I was one of the winners! Thanks so much for this contest. I had a ton of fun attempting to design Aurelion to fit into the Star guardian theme (and I especially love all the other aurelion sols that people entered like WOW so awesome) Congrats to the other winners, honorable mentions and everyone that entered. So many incredible designs that I really wish I could buy as skins! {{sticker:sg-lux}}
: Oh thank you! <3 Recorded using OBS Studio and edited with Adobe After Effects. Photoshop for the assets.
: I hope I have been entered. The browser has been stuck on this loading page for a while https://i.imgur.com/SfvQ1DC.png -Give the Lantern My entry anyway https://feardakez.com/nami/ {{champion:267}}
this looks amazing! You put so much detail into it. I especially love the different designs for her staff. If you don't mind me asking, what program did you use to make the videos? I love seeing process videos like that.
Pro Gnome (OCE)
: yeah I do remember that but honestly one screen isn't really enough, but yeah would like to see a bigger booth tbh.
true :) A bigger booth would be awesome
Pro Gnome (OCE)
: As I have been to PAX many of times, the one thing that I thing that convention is lacking is the opportunity to play n a stage. I see multiple booths that have the ability to play said "games" and prizes, but league isn't one of them, or even to play against league pros I also would like to available merchandise, like mechs vs minions to the tibbers onezie if possible. Thanks and I hope this helps :)
They actually had a bit of a setup last year (and this year at Sydney Supanova too). I think it was under logitech? They had a screen up and would sometimes pick people from the audience to play and even had shoutcasters! It was pretty epic. I remember a few cosplay themed games that I watched people play.
Zookie (OCE)
: I absolutely loved the cosplay panel last year and would really love to see something like that again! I would also love to see a panel on the process behind creating the art for League of legends, something on how the lore is created or more on Champ creation (since the one on Ivern last year was really fascinating).
Especially something on art though since I really would love to work towards getting into that side of the gaming industry and I absolutely love the concept art and splash arts for League!

: 1) This sounds really cool! I'd love to see this as an entry - but I think you'll need to make sure the connection to the Star Guardian universe is clear (so we don't think you've designed a badass Cosmic Reaver instead, for example ;)) 2) In this case I'd suggest submitting them together - perhaps submit your splash as the image and a imgur link to the character sheet as the text field part of the submission. :D
Thanks so much for the response! I have a really clear image in mind for the champ and it will be very clear that it is star guardian themed so that should be fine. I'll upload it like you've suggested if I get both done so they can be submitted together. Thanks again. I'm so excited to start working on it.

: Star Guardian Fanwork Contest
Loving this idea for a contest! I do have two questions though. 1) Someone already asked about designing a villain or something else for the star guardian universe. My question is... can I design a champ to be the First Star? The concept will still have a Star Guardian themed design but I'd love to do something that adds to the lore of the First Star. I have a really awesome idea in mind but I wanted to check first if this still counts since the First Star essentially creates the Star Guardians and is directly linked. 2) If we design both a splash art and a turn-around/character sheet for the same design can we submit both at the same time or do we have to put in two submissions? Since they both will be about the same character I would love to submit both if I get the time however I want the two to be considered together as the whole entry from me.

: I loved this story so much, Kindred is such a beautiful intriguing champ and you've done them so epic in this story, and that idea for a God Hunter Kindred skin would be so badass XD so fitting
Thanks so much! I absolutely love Kindred's concept and it was a lot of fun to explore that.
: I'm glad you mentioned Rothfuss! I love how detailed and almost scientific the study of magic is in that series. The third book can't come quick enough, really.
Tell me about it! I love losing myself in his writing. The opening few paragraphs of my SSS story was directly inspired by the way he opens and ends each of his novels talking about a silence of three parts. I love the imagery of it.
: Fantasy and gothic lit are generally my bag. I love epic adventures and tragic heroes, soaring landscapes and unknown evils that lurk to the left of our understanding. How about you Zookie? Your SSS entry was such a joy to read, I'd be keen to know what influences your writing. I'm always looking to read/play/watch/listen outside my comfort zone.
Fantasy is absolutely my jam. The idea of creating amazing worlds has always won me over and I especially love the interesting systems of magic that different authors come up with! Aside from that, I've always loved any novel or story that is written by an author with a great mastery of language. I love the poetic phrases by Patrick Rothfuss, the use of slang in A Clockwork Orange and the humorous lines in Good Omens.

: League Gala Event
Such a fun story. Really enjoyed it!
: Ikr, so we have God Fist Lee Sin but why is there only one god. More than one is always better than one.
Kindred would be perfect for some kinda god skin too.
: Sweet next thing we know, we have God Hunter Kindred skin.
I never even considered that.... and now I really want it!
Metablue (OCE)
: You're too kind! I have to agree that Zookie's story is very well written, it deserves all the votes it gets :D

: Demacia Art Contest
Just had a quick question about the size of the artwork! The suggested minimum dimensions are of a landscape artwork (if assuming that the first listed number is width and then height). Is it okay to draw it it with portrait size/length? Mine is currently 1660 x 2488px
: Metal Or Death
> The Wuju Swordsman was truly the guardian of this city, was. I know this was already brought up, but the repetition of 'was' at the end doesn't quite work here. I get what you are going for, in emphasising it though. Maybe try something like 'The Wuju Swordsman had once truly been the guardian of this city. But those days were long gone' - along those lines > Zed sighed as he left the forest, or what remained of it anyways. The smell of gunpowder and hextricity lingered in the air. **Zed **had diverted to the dojo to bid his farewells and bury his worries but his load became heavier than before. This is just my preference but I don't like starting two sentences that are close together with the same word. I think starting with just 'He' in that third sentence would be better. But as I said, that's my preference in how I write and with the sentence in between it actually is okay. > Sion **woke up from his slumber;** dazed as always. He had been dead on multiple occasions, each time shorter than the last I get what you are going for here but I think that clarifying the fact that he been dead might clear this up a little. By saying he 'woke from his slumber' it sounds like he was just sleeping. Then in the second sentence, you reference that he has been dead before. It might be better to start the paragraph off with something more similar to 'Sion woke, a roar filling his chest' - so that you are focusing on the fact that he is waking but not mentioning slumber. > He held what resembled Sion’s axe in his puny hands. Since you mention later in the paragraph that all he wants is to fight, it might be an idea to write a sentence or two detailing how although he felt his arms are puny, weak, distant etc. they are still good enough to fight since that is what he wants to do. Overall, I enjoyed the look into the different characters. I do agree that adding more in might be too much but it's hard to know. Perhaps instead of focusing on another character (if that feels too much), you could finish off the story with a paragraph that describes someone being created - a project skin or something along those lines to tie it all together. But, as the writer, do what you feel is best for the story!
: Exactly, I dont mind him sound coherent but he lives for carnage.
Thanks for the feedback! I tend to forget how many commas I use in a story so I'll definitely be taking a more critical eye to some of the sentences to make sure I don't overuse, which should cut down on some of that. Also thanks for the comments about the dialogue. I'll play with it to see if I can get wolf sounding a bit less intelligent. For Aurelion, I do agree that he is definitely more intelligent and well-spoken than I've written him here. My intention was that he is more barbaric because this story is taking place after he has escaped the people who bound him to their service. He is naturally more angry and as a result, sounds a bit more barbaric. But yea I do get that usually he doesn't sound like that, so I'll see if I can edit that dialogue too so that I still have the idea of him changing after he has escaped but make him sound a bit more like Aurelion. Thanks again for the feedback!
